The Atkins Public Library will be closed Saturday August 4th for Watermelon Days.

To Volunteer go to these two website to sign up.

Volunteers are also needed to help set up on Thursday, August 2nd at 6pm at the city park.  As well as tear down on Sunday, August 5th at 8am.

Special THANK YOU to all who helped with VBS. We could not have made this such a huge success without each and everyone of you! The children learned how God is with them wherever they go. They enjoyed water games and even a rock wall climbing adventure. The children ended VBS with our Deep Sea Discovery float at Watermelon Days. God is good!

5K Run and 1 Mile Run/Walk (Friday Night)

Registration Fee:

$5 for all 1 Mile participants (shirts not included)

$20 if received by July 15th. Includes shirt (5K Race)

$25 if mailed after July 15th or paid on race day (5K Race) (shirts not guaranteed)

Checks payable to Atkins Community Club Fun Run

Enjoy bottled water, watermelon and other snacks after the race. Also you must be present to win great prizes from our list of sponsors!

The Dog went missing from 33rd Ave Atkins Iowa.

It is black and White with Brown Paws.   Pit-bull and Rottweiler mix.
