April 14th, 2017 From 3:30 to 5:30 PM
Wild Photography will be taking pictures for you to download and get printed off.
The Bakehouse will be providing a treat for your child after the get their picture taken.

New Park Pavilion is available for Rent

Happy new year!
We have some exciting changes and updates with our park pavilions.
We will now be renting out the pavilion near the soccer fields!
The pavilion in the Atkins City Park rents for $55.00 per day. This pavilion is available year round and does have heating and cooling. This facility has a full kitchen with two refrigerators. This facility also has 10 tables that are 8 ft long and 64 Chairs. The address for this facility is 320 2nd Ave, Atkins Iowa 52206.
The pavilion by the Atkins soccer fields rent for $35.00 per day. This pavilion is an open air pavilion with a full kitchen. Restroom facilities will be coming in the spring of 2017. This pavilion has picnic table seating.
Another change is that rent will be due at the time the rental is made. We also have a rental agreement that must be signed before your reservation can be made.

Water and Sewer Rate Changes

Starting next month you will see changes on your City of Atkins water bill.
The sewer and water rates will be increasing to cover the operations of the water and waste water treatment plants.
There will also be an additional Sewer Debt Fee of $15.00. This is to help pay for the building of the Waste Water Treatment Plant.
There will be a late fee of $15.00 for payments not received by the due date.
