Membership to the American Legion Auxiliary is open to anyone over 18 with a husband, father, or grandfather who serves or served in the active military. Military service is a sacrifice for the whole family, so ALA members quietly look for ways to ease the burden—whatever it takes to get that family back on their feet physically, mentally, socially and vocationally. The ALA supports service projects in town, veterans at home and the hospital, scholarships, community activities, and supplies the American Legion kitchen.
