AIM (Atkins Improvement Mission) is a non-profit organization dedicated to identifying, implementing and fundraising projects for the betterment of the Atkins community. Since 2008, AIM has held a 501(c)(3) status and was originally focused on the development of the Atkins Library and City Hall. AIM led in the fundraising efforts in the $1.6 million project and celebrated with the community when it officially opened its doors in February 2013. AIM membership is open, and we welcome additional participants for the monthly meetings held the third Thursday of the month at 6:30. The group is currently focused on wellness and recreation projects and is fundraising for a soccer field restroom and concession stand.
