Rules regarding Discharging Fireworks in Atkins:
- Fireworks may only be discharged June 28th thru July 4th from the hours of 9 am to 11 pm each day.
- No person under 18 years old
- Only on property you own or have the consent of the owner. No discharge of fireworks on City property.
- No intoxicated persons or those under the influence of drugs
- Persons discharging fireworks assumes all responsibility.
- Sky lantern open flame devices are not permitted within City limits excited if tethered.
- Violations are reported to the State Fire Marshal.
